I should have specified that perhaps these people would recognize the djs names on a flyer the next time they come to town. To me, there was an element of discovery - that's how i find out about many djs, by stumbling upon them as openers of djs I like. Unlike your typical Deadmau5 show, patrons did not worship the DJs as if they were rockstars" Not knowing who's on stage doesn't mean you're appreciating the music. You don't have to rever a DJ to appreciate it's their music you're listening to. It just means you're going somewhere just for the sake of raving your face off, and not really caring much about what you're listening to, IMHO. Not knowing who’s on stage doesn’t mean you’re appreciating the music. You don’t have to rever a DJ to appreciate it’s their music you’re listening to.

It just means you’re going somewhere just for the sake of raving your face off, and not really caring much about what you’re listening to, IMHO.
